For my final project, I was inspired by Barbara Kruger’s work on feminism and gender equality. I like the simplistic yet eye-catching nature of her work and how it artfully critiques the patriarchal society that we are living in. I created 4 pieces in a similar style (with a Scrippsie twist), some of which are a direct response to the contemporary issues that women are facing in today’s society.
